AGRA:
Agra is one of the place to have some famous tourist places in India.It is a district of uttar pradesh (Northern state of India).Lucknow is the capital city of this state.Agra is a city that located on the banks of the river Yamuna.it is a major destination because of its many splendid Mughalera buildings,most notably TAJ MAHAL,AGRA FORT and FATEHPUR SIKRI,all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites. It was declared Agra has Golden Triangle tourist circuit,along with the Delhi (capital city of India) and Jaipur (one of the state capital city in India).

TAJ MAHAL:
It was the famous tourist place and also one of the New SEVEN WONDERS of the world.The whole construction of this mahal are made entirely with white marble. It was credited to the mughal emperor SHAH JAHAN who erected this mausoleum in memory of his beloved wife, MUMTAZ MAHAL who died in A.D. 1630.Her last wish to her husband was "to build a tomb in her memory such as the world had neverseen before".so shah jahan chosen building with fairytale like marvel.
The construction of Taj mahal was started in A.D.1632 and completed at the end of A.d. 1648. For seventeen years,twenty thousand workmen are said to be employed on it daily,for their accommodation a small town name Taj mumtazbad was built across the adjacent of the mahal. It was declared as one of the ARCHAEOLOGICAL place in India.The main entrance ,once gaurded with solid silver gates, is a maze of marble embroidery; inlaid on the wall in jeweled script are quotations from the koran,one of which invites the "PURE IN HEART" to enter "THE GARDENS OF PARADISE".

AGRA FORT:
Agra Fort is a UNESCO world Heritage site located in Agra,India.This Fort is called by various names like Lal Qilla, Fort Rouge,and Red Fort of Agra.This Fort was build by the Akbar . The construction of this Fort is made entirely with Red Sandstone. This Fort are made to worked both as a military strategic as well as the royal residence.
It is about 2.5Km northwest of its from famous monument, TAJ MAHAL.The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. The construction of Agra fort was started in 1565 with bricks in the inner core with sandstone on external surfaces.About 1,444,000 builders worked on it for 8 years, completed in 1573. The Fort contains splendid palaces both in redsandstones and white marbles built by two generations of prolific builders, Akbar later Jehangir and shahjahan.

FATEHPUR SIKRI:
Fatehpur Sikri is a fascinating ghost city was built in 16th century.It sits on Rocky ridge, 3km in length and 1 km wide and palace city is surrounded by a 6km wall on three sides with the fourth bordered by a lake. Its architects were Tuhir das and Dhruv Chawla and was constructed using Indian principles.The buildings of Fatehpur Sikri are made with red sandstone, known as 'Sikri sandstone'.
The buildings of Fatehpur Sikri show a synthesis of various regional schools of architectural craftsmenship such as Gujarat and Bengal.This was because indigenous craftmen were used for the construction of the buildings.Influences from Hindu and Jain architecture are seem hand in hand with islamic elements.It is accessed through gates along the 5miles(8.0 km) long fort wall,namely,Delhi Gate,the Lal Gate,the Agra Gate,Birbal's Gate,Chandanpal Gate,the Gwalior Gate,the Tehra Gate,the Chor Gate and the Ajmere Gate.
